SPAGHETTI CLAMS & TOMATO

Ingredients (2 servings)

  •  160g Linguine or Spaghetti
  •  400g fresh Clams (Vongole)
  •  10 Cherry Tomatoes
  •  30 ml White Wine
  •  1 Garlic Clove 
  •  some Parsley
  •  3 tbsp of Olive Oil
  •  Salt & Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Clean the clams under running water, take away the broken and opened ones.
Throw the clams one by one in the sink, the ones filled with sand will open.

 Thinly chop the garlic and parsley.  Cut the tomatoes into four parts.

Put the pasta in boiling salted water, and cook according to instructions on the package.

 Heat 3 tbsp of olive oil on medium heat. Fry the garlic in olive oil. Increase the fire. Add in clams, fry 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add parsley, add white wine, salt, and pepper.

When the clams start to opening, add the tomatoes and cook the clams for 1-2 minutes.

Strain the water from the pasta, and then add pasta into the frying pan. Cook for another minute.

    Pasta with Clams
