Fragrant fennel, juicy orange, tasty olives and a pinch of black pepper – an excellent set of ingredients to speed up the metabolism. You can add a couple of slices of grapefruit to enhance the fat burning effect.

  • 2 Oranges
  • 1/2 Fresh fennel bulb
  • 60 g Black olives
  • Extra virgin oil
  • Salt, pepper


  1. Wash the fennel, cut the bulb in half. Trim off the fennel stalks with a sharp knife. . Trim a little bit off the bottom of the fennel bulb. Peel off the stringy layer. Remove the tough core from the fennel. Discard the core. Slice fennel lengthwise into thin pieces.
  2. Peel oranges with knife. Use a sharp knife to cut the orange into segments, using the membrane as a guide.
  3. Put fennel, orange and olives into the boil, salt and pepper. Add extra virgin olive oil. Gently mix all the ingredients. Serve immediately.
