Cauliflower baked in foil in the oven with thyme and butter is a great recipe for a delicious chicken side dish, or you can prepare baked cauliflower as a separate dish with béchamel or tartar sauce.
BAKED CAULIFLOWER RECIPE
- 1 Cauliflower (1.5-2 kg)
- 3 tbsp. of Olive Oil
- 200 ml of Broth
- 200 g Butter
- 1 Garlic Clove
- Melt the butter in a frying pan over low heat. Crush a garlic clove with a knife blade, without peeling. Add garlic to butter, fry for 1 minute.
- Clean the cauliflower from leaves. Put the cauliflower into the pan with butter. Sprinkle with olive oil. Sprinkle with thyme, salt well. Cook the cauliflower over low heat for 10-12 minutes, constantly pouring oil from the pan.
- Transfer the cauliflower to a fireproof dish, pour the oil from the pan, and add broth. Cover the cauliflower tightly with foil, bake in the oven at 180С for 40-60 minutes (depending on the size). Remove the foil, bake for another 5 minutes. Serve as a separate dish or as a side dish for chicken with sauce.
