Bell Peppers with Feta Cheese

BELL PEPPERS WITH FETA CHEESE

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Bell Peppers
  • 1 pc Hot Red Pepper
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 100 ml of Olive Oil
  • One bunch of Parsley
  • 100 g Feta Cheese (diced)
  • Salt
  • Vegetable Oil for frying

INSTRUCTIONS

Cooking the sauce

Cut the hot pepper in length, remove the seeds and finely chop the pulp. Chop parsley leaves. Chop the garlic very finely (I prefer chopped rather than crushed garlic). Put chopped hot pepper, garlic, and parsley in a glass or ceramic bowl. Pour olive oil, add salt, mix and let it brew for 15-20 minutes.

Cooking bell peppers

Heat the oil for frying to 180 degrees in a deep pan. You can check the temperature with a pinch of flour: if the flour foams, it means that the oil temperature is ideal for frying.

Pierce each pepper several times with a toothpick. Fry peppers until golden brown, put on a plate. Cover the peppers with cling film for 5-7 minutes. Peel peppers. Arrange the peppers on a plate, sprinkle with feta cheese, and pour over the aromatic oil.
